Magnus Colossus

Ten million dollar wooden roller-coaster with a characteristic quality that makes it a little special all over the rest of the wooden roller-coasters... it has built in and old quarry which acts as a support for the enormous structure. From the top you can see a great view of the Mediterranean Sea and Benidorm's Bay, that will make MC the best-view roller-coaster all over the world.

You will walk inside MC through a typical wooden palisade (like Roman fortress). With it's 1.252 meter length and 37.3 meter maximum height (remember that you are 180 meter over the level sea), and at a  maximum speed of 100 km/h, it's able to run 1.280 guests per hour. Its area it's about 20.600 square meter, and as I've said its structure is on three natural salient, part of an old quarry, that you will see closer when you ride MC.....

Designer for the project is wooden roller coaster veteran engineer Dennis Starkey of The Stand Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Werner Stengel of Munich, Germany. Intamin AG is providing the trains, drive and control systems. The ride is the first wooden roller coaster to be fitted with magnet brake technology.

Opinion: Just SPEED!!! It's very fast and smooth at curves, and it's very, very, long. It's one of the stars of the park (almost all the roller coasters, isn't it?)
